Ship's Log: December 13, 2003 - Oriental Spirit of Christmas

The weather threatened, but the rain did not fall until early Sunday morning. Kuheli stayed at the dock at Matthews Point (mark the calendar!) and we spent the day in Oriental.

After the NSA scheduling meeting, Tim Carrere and I helped Kent Fann bring Fannasea around from Deaton's to Pecan Grove. The wind was blowing hard NE. Kent had no sail bent, or we would have romped around a bit before going to the dock. Jim Gay was willing, so he and I reefed Opus and took her to South River and back.

After the parade, Kuheli's crew visited Opus, then moved to Chip's Ahoy. We took a late ferry back to Matthews Point.
